In 2015, at the 9th Seiyuu Awards, Saito won the coveted Rookie/Newcomer voice actor award. Given that he had debuted in 2010, 2015 was the last year he was eligible to win this award (awarded to seiyuu that debuted in the past 5 years).

In 2015, Saito guested at Tokyo Otome Restaurant. The show based on the smartphone game (now discontinued) with the same name was hosted by fellow seiyuu Showtaro Morikubo and Natsuki Hanae.
